A5 Single Notebook - Werner's Nomenclature of Colors

In 1886, Ornithologist Robert Ridgway sought to standardise and catalogue the various shades and tints of colors named in the descriptions of birds for professional and amateur naturalists. Several decades after he published his first book, Ridgway went on to create another volume, covering more than a thousand colors. His work continues to bring value to naturalists and artists who, a century later, still use his work as a standard reference. This notebook honors these colors.

Roomytown's design team in Bath, UK, have curated the design using an adaptation of colour swatches published by P. Syme in 1821. The notebook is finished with a coloured fabric spine for an added touch of sophistication.
