More about the artist who inspired this collection: Growing up in Fairhope, Alabama, Elisabeth Hays was constantly inspired by the creative energy found in her southern coastal town. In 2018, after almost 10 years of owning and operating a successful interior design studio and the birth of her second child, Elisabeth decided to channel her creative energy into her love of creating original art. 

The gulf coast and its ever evolving elements are a direct inspiration to much of Elisabeth’s work. Her interior design roots can be found in her collections of expressionist abstract art experimenting with mixed media to merge her love of textiles & interior design with her love of painting and abstract art. Her most recent collections of Bugs & Butterflies are an explorative journey of medium experimentation inspired by the imaginative narratives of her children and their simple pleasures in everyday natural findings.
