These lightweight brass earrings feature honeycomb designed and handmade by the artist that hang from ear wires. Honeycombs, known for their unique hexagonal structure and natural beauty, are celebrated for their role in the bee world, bringing a sense of harmony and community. The honeycomb pendant, an original design by A Tea Leaf jewelry, is made of thin, delicate, and lightweight raw brass  and is both nickel-free and lead-free. Its dimensions are 3/4 inch x 1 1/2 inches, offering a refined size that is ideal for everyday wear. Our ear wires are gold plated, nickel-free, and lead-free, making them perfect for most sensitive skin types.

More about the artist, Alissa Thiele, in her words: Ever since I was little, I've loved to make things with my hands. This started out as drawings and paintings, and then lead to majoring in Graphic Design in college. After a few years in the real world, my husband and I (and our cat, Yoshimi) packed up and moved to Portland to be surrounded by music, nature, and amazingly creative people.

The Pacific Northwest immediately began to inspire my artwork. I started creating collage work with found papers & botanical drawings under the name A Tea Leaf. I also got interested in the idea of making my art/designs wearable and began learning about jewelry making. I found that jewelry allowed me to explore art from a whole new perspective. I was addicted! Today, A Tea Leaf jewelry is still inspired by nature and exploring the Pacific Northwest as well as vintage touches.
